Teo Musso established Baladin in 1986 as a beer pub in Piozzo, in the middle of the Piedmont region famous for wines.
It became a brewpub in 1996 and Teo has been at the forefront of the craft beer movement in Italy and Europe since then.
Teo has been innovating beer coming from the culture of wine. So many of his beers are thought to be paired with food.
Baladin finished in March 2024 the most successful equity crowdfunding in Italy raising over €5m from over 2.000 investors.
This allows Teo to have the funds to grow and most importantly, to remain independent from the beer industry multinationals.
Baladin Brewery has a capacity of 50.0000 hl/year. Produces beer in bottles, cans, and kegs, soft drinks and it has an aging area for distilled products as well.
Baladin is also making major efforts in its raw materials sourcing and trying to control the quality and ethics of its production.
